Η έρημος Atacama στην Χιλή, γνωστή και ως η πιο ξερή έρημος του κόσμου, αυτή τη στιγμή βιώνει ένα πραγματικά συναρπαστικό φαινόμενο. Έπειτα από μία απρόσμενη μπόρα στην περιοχή, χιλιάδες λουλούδια άνθισαν πάνω στην έρημο.
Το κλίμα στην έρημο Atacama είναι τόσο ξηρό, που οι επιστήμονες την χρησιμοποιούν ως δείκτη για να εξετάσουν τις συνθήκες επιβίωσης που θα μπορούσαν να υπάρχουν στον Άρη, όπως αναφέρει το Reuters.
